Heavy Construction Equipment Territory Sales Representative
Full-Time, North Waukesha County and Surrounding Area
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining customer relationships, presenting products to customers, conducting on-site product demonstrations, preparing proposals, working with customers on financing and payment options, closing sales, coordinating product support, and maintaining contact with sales management.
Position requirements include:
- A hard working self starter with outside sales experience and a successful track record
- Strong networking skills and the drive to consistently prospect for new leads
- The patience, composure, and persistence to take a deal from introduction to closure
- A strong independent streak and the desire to set and follow a schedule
- Able to set and achieve challenging sales goals and successfully manage accounts within a designated area
- Experience with construction equipment
Field Service Technician
Full-Time
Responsibilities include providing customers with on-site mechanical and technical support, inspection, maintenance, and rebuilding of heavy machinery, hydraulic and electrical service maintenance, and rental fleet maintenance and repair.
Position requirements include:
- Valid driver's license
- Good customer relations and communications skills
- Capable of multi-tasking while working with customers and co-workers
- An ethical approach to business at all times
- Clean driving record
- Must have your own tools
- The ability to lift up to approx. 50 – 75 lb on a daily basis
- Basic computer skills
- Highly motivated and organized
- Welding experience preferred but not required
Construction Equipment Field Mechanic
Kelbe Brothers Equipment Company is proud to offer a 1st shift heavy equipment field mechanic in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.
Kelbe Brothers is a family owned business established in 1953 with headquarters in Butler, WI and stores in Madison and DePere. A high percentage of long term employees shows our great work environment and commitment to work/family life balance.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on, but not limited to, our industry leading brands including Link-Belt, Hitachi, Takeuchi and New Holland
- Hydraulic systems repair & maintenance
- Engine repair & maintenance
- Electrical systems repair & maintenance
- Repairs and preventive maintenance to rental fleet and customer equipment
- Work performed via a dedicated Kelbe service truck and in our Butler shop
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, shop tools and service vehicle
Requirements include:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Your own tools to perform the repairs
- Average to above average computer skills to use and maintain company supplied laptop
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals to perform needed repairs and order correct parts
- Two or more years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing construction equipment
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform essential functions of this job: sit, stand, walk, climb on/off construction equipment, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Wage range is $26 to $34/hour, based on applicant experience/knowledge. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan w/ company match, and profit sharing.

Parts Counter Representative

Kelbe Brothers Equipment is a family owned business established in 1953 with headquarters in Butler, WI, and branches in Madison, WI, and De Pere, WI. The company offers sales, rentals, service and parts for new and used heavy, compact, and light construction equipment. The company's product portfolio consists of several high quality industry leading brands, including Hitachi, Link-Belt, Takeuchi, New Holland and Kent/FRD.
This position includes a wide range of duties and requirements:
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers & shop technicians with part identification and orders.
- Review and approval of parts vendor invoices.
- Check in daily shipments for accuracy & receipt in appropriate documents.
- Maintain parts inventory levels & place appropriate stock orders.
- Restock parts in correct bins as stock orders arrive.
- Pull & package parts for shipping via UPS or truck.
- Shipping & receiving duties, including operating a forklift (will train).
- Keep stockroom, showroom & office area organized and clean.
- Measuring & assemble hydraulic hoses per drawings or customer sample.
Qualifications
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs throughout an 8 to 10 hour day, with frequent use of computer keyboard, calculator, telephone, step stool & ladder, fork lift operation (will train) and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Experience in the construction equipment industry is not necessary, but a positive attitude, desire to learn, and willingness to work effectively with a team are must-haves.
Wage range is $17-20/hour, based on the applicant’s experience and knowledge. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan w/ company match, and profit sharing.
